Cell Screen 1-2-3 products are used for anti-erythrocytic antibody screening.

Patient and donor plasma is screened for atypical antibodies, using cells that are prepared in advance. They are group O cells that have been tested for the presence of the most commonly encountered antigens. The reliability of antibody detection is largely dependent on the availability of test cells with appropriate antigens and on the sensitivity of the test methods used.
